MSU's OCI Receives Honor from Gallatin Valley Food Bank

The MSU Office for Community Involvement was honored by the Gallatin Valley Food Bank in their first ever Nourishing Community Awards Ceremony.  Student volunteers from MSU have been providing valuable services to the food bank for 18 years and the award commended their efforts in "mobilizing campus resources and raising public awareness in order to meet the immediate needs of the Gallatin Valley Food Bank". At the ceremony a number of their contributions were noted including the involvement of the Campus Corps program and the "Can the Griz" Food drive which raised over 56,000 pounds of food donations for the Food Bank this past fall. Congratulations to the MSU OCI and thank you for all that you have done to help combat hunger in your local community!
