Montana Tech (Butte) - Make a Difference Day 2010

Ms. Julia Spangler receives bragging rights for being the first to report on her Make a Difference Day with her team! W00t w00t.

Take a look at the Facebook Album HERE! This is what Julia and her team at MT Tech had to say:

"It's Raining Cats and Dogs!

As a Campus Corps program, hosted by Montana Tech of the University of Montana in Butte America, hosted a Service Project on October 23, 2010 at the Chelsea Bailey Butte Silverbow Animal Shelter. Seven people from the Community attended plus every one of our MT Tech Campus Corps Team Members (15) and our VISTA. Our project started with walking the 21 dogs at 8:00 am. We finished our project with petting cats and walking some more dogs at 5:00pm. The owner of the Chelsea Bailey Butte Silverbow Animal Shelter (Erin Wall) found it extremely helpful of us to serve with her because she has been short staffed and hasn’t been able to put forth the time wants to with the cats and dogs!"

Sounds like those pups and cats were in need of some new energy and compassion! Also Julia mentioned that more photos are on their way, so keep an eye out for those :) Keep it up!

And let's see more of what happened this past weekend, por favor.
